Project Engineer 3 (95201-1)Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Project Engineer 3. The work will be done onsite full-time in Lafayette, IN. This is a long-term position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $57/hr + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).Job Summary The Project Engineer 3 will serve as a key liaison between engineering and manufacturing, supporting the resolution of build and quality issues within a large engine production environment. This role focuses on improving product quality, build efficiency, and part traceability through collaboration with cross-functional teams. The engineer will work closely with assembly operations, offsite engineering teams, and suppliers to troubleshoot issues, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support engineering change implementation. This position offers hands-on exposure to manufacturing operations, quality systems, and real-time problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities Act as the primary liaison to manufacturing, supporting build and quality issue resolution Investigate assembly issues by working directly with shop floor teams and documenting findings Support and manage build improvement and quality (BIQ) initiatives, including engineering change requests Collaborate with engineering, operations, and offshore teams to drive process and product improvements Participate in pre-delivery audits and support traceability and documentation effortsRequired Qualifications Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering, or related field Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience (internship experience may be considered) Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting methods Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications Experience with Creo and Teamcenter Background in engine systems or electrical design Experience working in manufacturing or production environments Familiarity with continuous improvement processes and cross-functional collaborationWhy This Role?
