This Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager opportunity in Middletown, CT supports multiple project managers while helping coordinate new construction and restoration work involving brick, block, stone, and precast.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Engineer / Assistant Project Managerposition include:

2–5 years of experience in project engineering or assistant project management
Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning
Technical knowledge of masonry construction methods, materials, restoration techniques, and building codes
Ability to support field crews and subcontractor coordination in a safety-focused environment
Experience reviewing plans and specifications and preparing project documentation
Proficiency with construction documentation, including blueprints, specifications, contracts, and change order management
Familiarity with construction management software and project tracking tools; basic computer skills
Commitment to workplace safety, quality control, and compliance with regulatory requirements

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
