Job Description

gpac is partnered with a well-established Commercial Construction company in search of an experienced Project Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking to take the next step in their career and to join a team that emphasizes professional growth and development.

The Project Engineer will co-ordinate with the Project Manager to be responsible for the successful management of projects from concept to completion. As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of materials, labor and equipment. Additionally, you will be expected to manage construction timelines and budgets to ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget. The successful candidate will also be responsible for quality control of all projects.

The essential job functions of the Project Engineer include:

-Develop and coordinate construction plans, schedules and budgets-Supervise and mentor project teams-Manage the procurement of materials and equipment-Perform cost analyses and make necessary changes to ensure cost objectives are met-Communicate changes and progress to senior management, partners and subcontractors-Ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget-Ensure quality control of all projects-Participate in the development of design concepts and review of proposed changes

The ideal candidate for the Project Engineer role should possess the following skills:

-Advanced technical and engineering knowledge-Excellent communication skills-Project management expertise-Time management and organizational skills-Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills-Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Project Engineer Requirements:

1-3 years as a Project manager with a 4-years degreein Construction Management or equivenant.
