You’ll manage multiple custom manufacturing projects at once, working directly with customers, engineering designs, and production teams to bring steel fabrication to life.
Think:
- Material handling racks, containers, and dunnage
- Custom, one-off and short-run builds
- Real ownership from quote to production to delivery
What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Review technical drawings, specs, and blueprints to ensure accuracy
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and execution plans
- Track progress, manage change orders, and communicate updates
- Coordinate with production, vendors, and customers to keep jobs moving
- Support production planning and efficiency tracking
- Troubleshoot issues during fabrication and build
What You Bring
- 3+ years in manufacturing or fabrication project management
- Experience in steel, metal structures, or custom fabrication strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings / blueprints
- Strong Excel skills (you’ll use it daily)
- Comfortable managing multiple projects (often 8–10 at once)
- Strong communication skills, you’ll be customer-facing
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Degree in Engineering preferred, but experience counts
