A Project Engineer works with the Project Manager and other team members to ensure the technicaladministration of the project. This is accomplished by coordinating RFI’s, taking full responsibility for thesubmittal process and the coordination and communication of company processes for the project. This isa safety sensitive position when on the job site.

Job Details

● Review and manage all requests for information (RFI’s) for the project● Ensure compliance with design documents through skilled review to determine constructabilityin coordination with building systems.● Manages the procurement log and ultimate responsibility for ensuring material procurement toachieve project schedule● Conduct job site meetings including documentation and facilitation● Coordinate the receipt and distribution of all records, closeout and warranty documentation forthe project● Obtain and maintain FAA Part 107 license, including any necessary additional learning viawebinars, classes, events, etc. to be aware of any changes in rules, laws and regulations fordrone flights● Schedule, manage, and fly drones including the distribution of footage● Involved with project schedule management through project completion. Works with the teamand specifically assists with the 3-week look ahead schedule● Identify drawing detail issues, conflicts between building systems and constructability issues tosolve problems to maintain and accelerate construction schedule and reduce cost● Involved with financial management of the project including subcontractor selection andsubcontract execution, change management, and pay application management● Manages project documentation updates and changes and distribution to trade partners● Involved in conflict resolution between owner, contractor and subcontractor● Understand building codes/ regulations to identify potential issues and assist in coordinating aresolution● Ensure safety of the project site, conducting safety checks and responsible for addressing safetyconcerns● Travel to attend and participate in necessary meetings, client/partner/job site visits or events● Serves as a member of the project team to accomplish project goals● Mentor new team members● Responsible for engaging in opportunities to increase professional growth and development andmaintaining training requirements● Demonstrates and promotes an inclusive workplace and a Culture of Care that supports allindividuals needs and goals● Ensure quality of materials and workmanship on the jobsite, conduct quality assurance checks,and responsible for coordinating a resolution to quality issues
