Job Description
The Senior Project Engineer/Junior Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Project Manager and Superintendent in day-to-day project execution
- Preparing and managing submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
- Performing quantity take-offs and tracking project progress and costs
- Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and site activities
- Assisting with procurement and buyouts
- Maintaining a consistent presence on-site while contributing to office-based tasks
- Helping drive project schedules, quality, and safety compliance

The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Project Engineer/Junior Project Manager should have:
- 3+ years' experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or Assistant PM
- Ability to operate independently and mentor more junior engineers
- Experience in heavy civil, utilities (wet/dry), or related infrastructure projects preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
- Comfortable working both in the field and in an office setting
- Willingness to travel to project sites within 1 hour of Beltsville, MD
