Job Description
Project EngineerJoin a respected commercial builder with a strong pipeline of repeat business. Build your career on diverse projects while working with experienced leaders.As a Project Engineer, you will report into a Project Manager and work closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.Coordinate project documentation including Requests for Information, submittals, drawings, and related records
Support preconstruction activities including quantity take-offs and bid leveling exercises
Review submittals and procurement activities to ensure alignment with project schedules
Identify and resolve gaps or discrepancies in construction documents with project stakeholders
Assist with subcontract preparation, purchase agreements, and project administration
Coordinate subcontractor schedules alongside field leadership to maintain project timelines

Approximately 1-2 years of construction industry experience
Internship experience within commercial construction is required
Experience supporting commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and construction scheduling software
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building abilities
Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and ethical decision-makingAbility to work collaboratively with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams
Ability to successfully complete background screening and drug testing requirements
