Project Engineer

Must be US Person In this role, you will have a direct impact on the development of our factory test equipment and contribute to the success of our Ring Laser Gyro and Inertial Measurement products. Your attention to detail and problem-solving abilities will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of new equipment builds.Key Responsibilities • Oversee project building and validation of Factory Test Equipment. • Develop and manage project schedules. • Establish new build processes for custom factory equipment. • Apply technical troubleshooting skills and knowledge to Factory Test Equipment (FTE). • Integration of test solution designs into working systems for the Factory. • Interface with vendors and suppliers for BOM development and acquisition of parts for equipment builds. • Generate engineering documents for the FTE – schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, specifications, etc.YOU MUST HAVE • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. • 6+ years of experience in hardware design and development. • Experience with equipment testing and validation. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.WE VALUE • Troubleshooting capability to isolate failure modes and implement solutions. • Excellent computer literacy. • Ability to focus on important information and identify key details. • Capability of following guidelines and ensuring efficiency on given project tasks. • Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize design of products, parts, systems or processes. • Clear and concise communication and presentation skills. • Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts. • Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done and do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
