Project Engineer/Coordinator

(Structural Steel Construction)

JOB DESCRIPTION

A structural steel construction company in the area is looking for someone with your experience. They are a premier structural steel and equipment erector specialize in commercial and industrial construction projects. They have a strong and highly skilled group focused on teamwork and collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess independent judgment, excellent organizational skills, and the flexibility to coordinate multiple projects with frequent interruptions, accuracy, project management. Will work on project sites throughout the United States as required. Must be willing/able to travel and be stationed at project assignments. The Project Coordinator tracks site related costs, documents, production units, and other data as directed by site manager.

Qualifications/Requirements:

3-5 years directly related project coordinator or field engineer experience
Basic understanding of construction job site administrative duties
Detail-oriented, Strong problem-solving skills, Excellent organizational skills
Civil Engineering, Construction Technology or Construction Management related degree
Excellent communications skills – verbal and written.
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, Project, Word), Raken, Procore, knowledge of phone systems, good typing skills and general office
