Job Description
As a Project Engineer at , you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination in support of a US Army program. Your monitoring of project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards will help maintain project efficiency and deliver high-quality results. In this role, you will have an impact on the company's success by ensuring the successful execution and delivery of complex engineering projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will report directly to our Sr Engineer Program Manager and you will work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule (minimum 3 days per week in office). This role is in support of the US Army's Total InteGrated Engine Revitalization (TIGER) program for the AGT1500 turboshaft engine – the powerplant for the M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank. You'll collaborate with US Government customers (Technical Representatives, Product Managers and US Army Lieutenant Colonels) and acrossfunctions (including Field Service Engineers, Overhaul Support Engineers and other technical specialists) in support of your projects.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholdersU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorizationYOU MUST HAVE• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics• 2+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget• Strong leadership and project management skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment• Experience in risk management and problem-solving• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies• Technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
