Job Description
Fierce Outcomes is an education- and workforce-focused strategy and analytics firm founded 18 months ago that spun out of BCG and McKinsey. We lead strategic turnarounds driving enrollment growth and financial sustainability for educational institutions (universities, colleges, K12 independent schools, and early childhood centers). We also improve educational ROI and close talent gaps by brokering talent pipeline partnerships between educational institutions, employers, and state government. We provide our clients a combination strategic go-to-market planning, analytics, and executional support to drive real change over extended periods of time. This is a contract remote role for a Project Leader / Engagement Manager at Fierce Outcomes. The role involves overseeing project management, ensuring successful project delivery, fostering client relationships, and driving engagement strategies. Most engagements last 6+ months and require 33%-50% time per week. Our value proposition is twofold: provide our ex-MBB contractors high flexibility and lifestyle-focus while also providing reasonable pricing for our clients allowing them to work with us for extended periods of time and generate high quality results. Qualifications:
- Experience as a project leader / engagement manager at a major strategy consulting firm such as BCG, McKinsey or Bain
- Public sector experience and passion (education, workforce, talent pipelines)
- Proven experience in project management and client engagement
- Excellent strategy, analytics, and PMO skills
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- ~20 hours per week available, with flexibility to go to 40 hours if desired
- Compensation based on fixed weekly hours allotment using $80-120 per hour base rate depending on experience.
