Job Description
OverviewThe Project Management Specialist is responsible for coordinating and driving the successful completion of projects from initiation through execution. This role oversees all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring deadlines, responsibilities, and deliverables remain on track. The position requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Based in Fort Mill, SC, you will play a critical role in supporting sales teams, developing RFP/RFI responses, and coordinating cross functional efforts to ensure program and customer success. This position thrives in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment and requires strong prioritization skills, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.What You'll Do• Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery.• Establish timelines, assign responsibilities, and oversee progress toward key milestones.• Monitor project performance, manage risks, and proactively remove roadblocks.• Prepare and present clear, concise status updates and reports for senior leadership.• Guide and support cross-functional team members; may lead and direct the work of others.• Apply a broad range of project management practices, creativity, and problem solving to achieve program goals.• Partner closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, scope, and expectations.Key Responsibilities• Lead and coordinate execution across IA programs and initiatives.• Drive operational efficiency and champion process improvements.• Collaborate with sales teams to support deal strategy, pricing, and execution.• Develop, manage, and submit high quality RFPs/RFIs aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.• Track program milestones, risks, metrics, and deliverables to ensure predictable outcomes.• Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to promote alignment and program success.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree preferred.• 2–4 years of experience in project management or a related field.• Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.• Creativity, initiative, and a high degree of latitude in achieving goals.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
