The Enterprise Project Manager plays an integral role in the organization's EPMO by providing exceptional project management. Working in a complex and dynamic environment and has responsibility for project management, coaching, measurement, and coordination over different initiatives across the organization. The Project Manager ensures project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track and communicates any risk.
Essential Functions
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
Partner with project lead to develop and update work plan
Provide guidance to the management of the project toward its objective and milestones
Partner with project lead on preparing for team meetings and debrief with lead(s), as needed
Participate in team meetings, as available
Prep and guide team leads for communications to Sponsors and Senior Leadership
Coordinate, and support the development of, the presentation materials for updates to Pillars 22 Leadership
Track key project issues and help to devise strategies/tactics for issue resolution, where appropriate work with EPMO Executive Sponsors
Help determine resource needs and support project leads in managing related new resource requests
Work with lead on project performance measurement
Collaborate with I/S liaison and Analytics liaisons in support of project team needs, as necessary
Establishing effective project communication plans and support EPMO communications to Program Sponsors, Dyad Partners, Project Leads and Project Team members
Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.
Manage and facilitate changes to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts
- Bachelor's degree in management, business or a related field
- Masters preferred
- PMP desired but not required
- Minimum 5 yrs. experience required
- Operations PM
