Job Description
We are hiring a Project Manager to support the delivery of commercial solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and wants to grow within a company actively building infrastructure for the clean energy transition.
You will take ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring strong execution, financial control, and clear communication across all stakeholders.
What You'll Own
- Manage the full lifecycle of commercial solar and battery storage projects (permitting through closeout)
- Oversee project execution including contracts, scheduling, procurement, and construction coordination
- Manage project financials (billing, cost tracking, forecasting, and budget reviews)
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and procurement/buyout activities
- Lead or support construction meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Support preconstruction efforts including RFP/RFQ responses and estimating coordination
- Maintain accurate and organized project records across internal systems
Requirements
- 2+ years of project management experience in commercial construction
- Experience in solar, battery storage, MEP, or technical infrastructure projects preferred
- Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle (permitting, inspections, scheduling, procurement, billing, closeout)
- Experience managing project budgets and cost tracking
- Working knowledge of MEP systems and building permit processes
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Smartsheet
- Experience with Jonas Premier is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
- Must be local to the Monterey Bay Area and able to work onsite
