Project Manager

We are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role focuses on managing budgets, schedules, and coordination across mechanical scopes including HVAC and piping systems. The position plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This is a strong fit for someone who can lead teams, manage client relationships, and drive project performance in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are met
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams for efficient execution
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure scope alignment
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Negotiate and manage subcontracts and purchase orders
• Conduct project meetings and communicate updates with stakeholders
• Perform site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality standards
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and design teams

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in mechanical, HVAC, or construction project management
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction processes
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
