Job Description

The Project Manager - Network Construction position requires a passionate professional with a proven track record for delivering complex projects on-time and on-budget, while demonstrating leadership across multiple internal departments, and externally with partners, suppliers, contractors, vendors and various public and municipal entities.

This position will report to the Director of Construction Administration and serve as the central point of contact and primary facilitator for ongoing projects.  This individual will manage multiple projects in order to accomplish and report status on project activities and ensure results which meet construction and budget targets. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of a highly visible and important projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy and commitments.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage the RFP and bid process from beginning to end

  • Write workorders and change orders

  • Manage internal and external resources to ensure projects are on time and on budget

  • Project inventory and validate usage

  • Project tracking, reporting, and managing invoice processes

  • Must be able to quickly resolve problems by interacting with multiple internal departments and vendors

What You Need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • PMP certification preferred

  • 5-7 years Project Management or related experience in the Telecommunications industry preferred but not required

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Experience with complex projects

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to present to executive leadership teams

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and thrive in a constant improvement environment.

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Microsoft Project

  • Multi-tasking capabilities essential

  • Management of multifaceted project schedule and associated reporting

  • Ability to travel up to ten (10) percent, including, overnight
