Job Description
Job Title: Project ManagerLocation: 5551 South Cobb Dr SE, Atlanta, GA 30339Duration: 6+ months
Role Summary
Lead and deliver plant asset data improvement projects across generation facilities. Manage asset data remediation, standardization, and governance initiatives, including plant walkdowns, P&ID/CAD reviews, asset labeling, and O&M procedure alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and manage multiple asset/data projects end-to-end
- Develop project schedules, track progress, risks, and deliverables
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, supply chain, IT, vendors)
- Lead asset data standardization and migration to unified models
- Conduct plant assessments, walkdowns, and data validation activities
- Support training, change management, and user adoption
- Establish data governance frameworks (policies, controls, roles)
Core Deliverables
- Assessment of current asset data systems
- Business requirements for standardized asset model
- Implementation of unified asset data model
- Data governance structure and procedures
- Stakeholder documentation and alignment
- Successful rollout and adoption of new processes/tools
Required Experience
- 5+ years in power plant, utilities, or heavy industrial environments
- 3+ years in project management
- Experience with asset data, plant systems, or data remediation
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering / Business / Project Management
- PMP certification
- Mechanical/Electrical design experience
- CAD experience or certification
