Job Description

Job Summary

We’re looking for a proactive Project Manager to lead New Product Development (NPD) and cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch at our Ogden, UT location.

This role is accountable for driving results. You’ll actively partner with cross-functional teams to insure clarity, alignment and forward momentum in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ambiguity, identifying risks early, challenging assumptions, and escalating issues appropriately to ensure successful outcomes.

Essential Functions

  • Own end-to-end execution of NPD and operational projects from approved concept through launch.

  • Actively drive progress by gathering updates, validating assumptions, and confirming readiness – rather than relying solely on status reports.

  • Build and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, and dependencies across functions.

  • Identify risks, constraints, and capacity issues early, present clear recommendations and decision options.

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for cross-functional handoffs and follow-through.

  • Drive launch readiness by ensuring formulation, sourcing, quality, packaging, regulatory, and inventory are aligned before commitments are finalized.

  • Prepare clear, actionable project communications that highlight risks, decisions needed, and paths to green.

  • Partner closely with Marketing and other stakeholders to align development timelines with launch strategies.

  • Confidently escalate when progress stalls, decisions lag, or commitments are at risk.

  • Manage multiple project types (new formulations, size extensions, reformulations, market adaptations).

Job Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of project management experience within a production or manufacturing environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management or related field preferred.

  • PMP certification preferred, with proven track record of driving complex, cross-functional projects to on-time delivery.

  • Strong ownership mindset with a bias for action and accountability.

  • Ability to proactively identify issues, challenge assumptions, and push for resolution.

  • Excellent organizational skills and comfort managing detailed, interdependent work.

  • Strong analytical skills; able to interpret and communicate data clearly.

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Asana) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.).

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

  • The employee must exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force to move objects.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.

Join our team and enjoy a comprehensive package of competitive benefits and perks designed to support your well-being and professional growth. Our offerings include:
