Pay Range:
$78,100.00 - $128,500.00POSITION SUMMARY
TheSeniorProject Managerwill ensurecross-functionalteams achievedevelopment andcommercializationobjectives, coordinate collaborations with partners/evaluators,facilitatecommunications, andcreate, drive,andmaintainschedules forproduct development projects. He/she will work withstakeholders and subject matter expertstoinitiate,plan,and execute project activities,identifyresources,anddefineresponsibilities& deliverablesto ensuretimelyprogressagainstproject milestones,and provide visibility across all projects.The position is highly cross-functional and visible within theResearch&Development,Commercial, andOperations teams and across the entireBio-TechneDiagnostics Division.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Project Management:
Developsand implementsproject plans, including cost, scope, schedule, risk, resource, and communications plans.
Identifiespotentialprogrammaticbottlenecks or delays and drives efforts to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Identifies,communicates,and mitigatesproject risks.
Guidesthe team inappropriate decision-makingthrough analyzing options and reviewing implications with the team; make decisions pertinent to the project as needed.
Monitor and ensure compliance with product development processes and procedures
Communications and Reviews:
Be responsible forteam and cross-functional communications (written and oral).
Act asliaisonbetween the project team andthe leadership teamas.
Define and track key projectmetrics;coordinate and guide project phase reviews.
Elevate critical business decisions totheappropriate leadershipteam members.
Develop andmaintainstrong relationships with functional leaders to drivesuccessof projects and teams.
Team Management:
Directs cross-functional teamsto complete development deliverables,milestones,productlaunches,engineering changes, software releases,and other high priority projects.
Buildsteam ownership and commitment to project plans.
Influence in a complex, matrixed environment, foroptimalproject outcomes.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of experience in a program or project management role
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate Degree or advanced project management certification
Demonstrated success with managing projects supportingdiagnostic development
Knowledge, Skills,and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, both written andverbal.
Familiaritywithdiagnosticdevelopmentproject management
Working knowledge ofISO, CLIA, CAP, FDArequirements.
Detailoriented and highly organized.
Showshighdegree of persistence anddrivetoaccomplishgoalsin a timely manner.
Ability todeterminethe resources and support to meet project goals and timelines.
Proficient in the use of computer and mobile applications and software, including but not limited toMicrosoft Suite, Smartsheet, or similar
Ability to work autonomously to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at one time.
