Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager

Job Category: Project and Program Management

Under limited direction serve as primary point of contact at Global Secure Network (GSN) implementation site(s) assigned. Responsibilities include but are not limited to site survey and installation logistical coordination with CACI, subcontractor, and customer team. Coordinate equipment staging, integration, cutover, and testing of the site installation(s) activities per the Statement of Requirement (SOR), Engineering Design Plan (EDP) and contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Requires full-time presence in the CACI office in High Point, NC
  • Lead the on-site coordination efforts with the Government Assistant Project Manager (APM) for the kick-off meeting with subcontractor(s) and Government POCs
  • Responsible for coordinating and planning the scheduling and overall supervision of the on-site implementation of major networking and data center design. Verify site/building/room specific "Bill of Materials" including labor units for each project
  • Manage the post site survey verifications process, document, and report all site changes/modifications that impact the installation design
  • Evaluate project designs for accuracy, utilizing detailed material lists, design drawings, and project Statement of Work documents for subcontracted work or for bid requests
  • Monitor progress and quality/workmanship of the installation/implementation teams and report problems/progress/status to the Deputy Program Manager
  • Provide verification, documentation, and reporting for ALL work descriptors installed on a set progress reporting schedule to the Deputy Program Manager
  • Provide projections for all work descriptors to be installed monthly and quarterly to the Sr. Program Manager
  • Provide actual start and finish dates for all summary tasks in the schedule to the Project Scheduler and DPM weekly. Ensure schedules are met or completed prior to due dates including any schedule delays
  • Lead weekly or bi-weekly "Hotwash" meetings to brief the Government APM's and others on site progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure that cables moved during cutover are routed/dressed/labeled, as required
  • Travel to other CACI Locations or Customer Sites as necessary
  • Requires travel (up to 25%) globally
  • Understand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policies
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Possess, or be able to obtain, DoD Secret Level Security Clearance

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, or Business
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications, MS Project, and other software applications as required.
  • Seven (7) years' experience managing IT and/or datacenter projects
  • US Citizenship

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, or Business Administration
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications, MS Project, and other software applications as required
  • Seven (7) years' experience managing IT and/or datacenter projects
  • Experience managing personnel in a matrix organization

Desired:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • Master's degree in business administration
  • Ten (10) years' experience managing IT and/or datacenter projects
  • Experience managing direct-report personnel
