The Project Manager will be responsible for implementing and overseeing project management processes across the organization. This role will manage complex projects and resource allocations, ensuring smooth coordination between teams, on-time project delivery, and strategic alignment with company goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to drive multiple workstreams' success simultaneously.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Coordinate and Manage Project Activities: Define project scopes of work and initiate, organize, and manage project workstreams to meet project milestones.
  • Project Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams by coordinating with R&D, partnerships, and technical project leads to ensure clear communication, alignment, and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain Detailed Project Plans: Create, update, and manage detailed project timelines, ensuring real-time tracking and reporting on project progress and status.
  • Facilitate Project Meetings: Organize and lead project coordination meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on deliverables, timelines, and resources.
  • Resource Management: Assign tasks and oversee resource management across multiple projects, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and resolving timing or resource conflicts as they arise.
  • External Partner Interface: Regularly interface with external partners to share project updates, report on milestones, and align expectations. Strong verbal and written communication skills will be essential to ensure clarity and build strong relationships.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure timely communication of risks and changes to project timelines.
  • Cross-Functional Efficiency: Collaborate with department managers to integrate and streamline efforts across different projects, ensuring organizational efficiency and the successful delivery of initiatives.
  • Ensure On-Time Completion: Oversee the timely execution of all assigned projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices in project management, including resource optimization, timeline accuracy, and risk mitigation strategies, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the overall success of the organization’s strategic objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO CHEW:

  • BS/BA degree in Project Management, Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and PMP certification required
  • Experience with project management software tools
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external partners
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with a focus on resource optimization and timeline management
  • Experience in risk assessment and mitigation
