Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team. This role will plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specificprojectassigned. The project manager will work to ensure smooth workflow and completion of the project, while interfacing with internal departments, clients, and other professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Becomes single point of contact with client for project-related communications during project
  • Provides labor quotes to sales for presentation to client
  • Monitor workflow including manpower required to meet installation completion dates and track costs against the budget
  • Provide timely and formal written communication throughout the projects and disseminate all critical information to clients and project team. Maintain detailed project documentation of key project decisions and customer/project requests/revisions
  • Meet with clients, sales, design, construction, order entry, installation. These meetings would help establish Schedule and sequence of the project.
  • Meet to establish a timeline for design of each floor/phase, Order dates, and Arrival dates.
  • Attend construction meetings to make sure schedule is on track and information on any special situations or request.
  • Check specification prints to verify product counts, structural integrity, any tight areas that may need to be field measured.
  • Coordinate Pre-install meeting with installers
  • Coordinate and complete Pre installation inspection
  • Implement job site inspections
  • Integral in the completion of the punch list - document per phase/floor and communicate progress with client representative
  • Work with administrative team to order punch list and complete punch list.
  • Meet with installation supervisor daily to check progress. Share with team and client

  • Excellent Organizational Skills: General understanding of furniture product utilization, including architectural integration with the ability to manage large and complex projects
  • Technical Support: Very good product and technical knowledge, including applicable building codes, correct product applications, custom applications and pricing, price estimating and solicitation, and electricity and cabling requirements. Knowledge of interior construction, interior design, moves and relocations, truck, furniture manufacturing and shipping, building management and current workplace issues. Ability to read blueprints, conduct field verifications, site measurements and furniture/site surveys.

EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3 - 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in any of our vertical markets (GSA, Education, Healthcare) is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook
  • CET, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro (optimal, but not required)
  • Ability to travel as needed. (25-50% travel is expected.)
