Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a large-scale healthcare initiative on behalf of our consulting practice. In this client-facing role, you will serve as the primary point of coordination between our firm and the client, ensuring that complex program deliverables are met on time, within scope, and in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements This is a hybrid role in the greater Sacramento region. Core duties and responsibilities include:

• Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver strategic initiatives from planning through execution• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure successful delivery• Track project progress, manage dependencies, and adjust plans to maintain schedule and budget• Facilitate team meetings, stakeholder updates, and project planning sessions• Identify, analyze, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues• Manage project scope, deliverables, and quality standards to meet business objectives• Coordinate resources, monitor utilization, and support team performance and development• Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, sponsors, and leadership• Support vendor coordination, procurement activities, and external partnerships when needed• Ensure project documentation, reporting, and compliance standards are maintained

Required skills and qualifications:

• 2+ years of project management experience or 5+ years working on project teams• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders• Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or traditional project management methodologies• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills• Strong communication and facilitation skills in both technical and non-technical environments• PMP, CAPM, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferred

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is from $105K to $140K, depending on experience.
