Project Manager

Constellation Search Group is looking for a Project Manager for a full-time direct hire position. The Project Manager will oversee electrical construction projects from initial bid through to final completion, playing a vital role in increasing efficiency and profitability throughout the project lifecycle. Acting as the main liaison between the company and clients, this role also provides primary support for field forces. The position requires balancing time in both office settings and on-site locations to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate projects across various delivery methods, perform quantity takeoffs, and evaluate equipment and subcontractor quotes.
• Review pricing and construction methods for future estimates, securing material and equipment quotations.
• Utilize estimating software and verify calculations to finalize proposals, using company databases.
• Oversee pre-construction processes, maximize project profitability, and negotiate material/equipment purchases.
• Collaborate with project foreman to plan work and manage project correspondence and personnel.
• Monitor project productivity and profitability, attending meetings and ensuring proper allocation of resources.
• Advise on monthly billings and job cost projections for accurate Work In Progress (WIP).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of project management experience in construction.
• Experience in the electrical industry is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and professional etiquette.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and independent decision-making skills.
• Capability to develop positive relationships with electricians, firms, contractors, and clients.
• Ambitious with high ethical standards and a positive, collaborative attitude.
• Strong work ethic, excellent listening skills, and confidence in representing the company.
• Innovation-driven with the ability to align efforts with strategic goals.
