Project Manager - Move Manager & Moves, Adds, Changes Coordinator

Job Description Summary

This position will lead ServiceNow and Move Management activities in the Metro Atlanta area to support a Client Planning team. ServiceNow projects will consist of smaller real estate Moves, Adds and Changes approved through an employee requested ticket process. Move Management projects will consist of larger real estate relocations. This role coordinates planning, scheduling, vendor procurement, field verification, move execution, and post move stabilization. This position will work closely with the Client Planning team, individual Business Units, and Client contracted vendors.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and confirm the project framework including the scope, time & budget guidelines/constraints as applicable.
  • Research and develop responses to ServiceNow Requests delegated by the Client Planner; review on‑site conditions as needed and manage requests through completion.
  • Provide general support to the Client Planner, including confirming reuse of furniture from on‑site storage inventory.
  • Develop comprehensive moving plans including timelines, sequencing, resource needs, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct pre‑move site assessments and surveys to evaluate conditions, furniture needs, and logistical constraints. Install move signage as needed.
  • Manage moving companies and specialty vendors; secure estimates and oversee contracted services.
  • Oversee packing, labeling, loading, transport, delivery, and placement of office contents, equipment, and furniture.
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and quality during move activities, coordinating elevator access, loading zones, building protection, and security protocols.
  • Provide on‑site supervision during move events to resolve issues, maintain inventory control, ensure adherence to schedule, and minimize business disruption.
  • Handle post‑move issues including lost items, damages, punch‑list activities, workstation adjustments, and occupant support.
  • Primary work location will be at a client facility.

Required Skills

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Advanced knowledge of corporate move management workflows, and workplace transitions in occupied environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Furniture logistics (reuse, teardown, installation) and documentation/oversight of removals, relocations, and storage. Ability to work on site for walk‑throughs, supervision, and day‑of‑move coverage at both origin and destination locations.
  • Advanced knowledge of real estate planning, strategic objectives, budgets, and schedules. Advanced ability to develop strong, positive working relationships across multiple teams.
  • Advanced ability to communicate with senior levels of management.
  • Strong ability to facilitate resolution to conflict.
  • Ability to visualize and communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong skills in MS Office programs, especially Excel and Project.
  • Ability to develop multi-phased project schedules as applicable.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong team building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple initiatives/projects simultaneously and independently.  (Typical project load ranges from 10-20 projects of varying size and complexity).
  • Ability to show judgement and initiative to accomplish job duties.
  • Ability to develop, organize, and implement project plans as well as monitoring and reporting on progress.
  • Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction science, real estate, architecture, design, or related field or at least 5 years of corporate real estate experience.

Related Work Experience

  • 5+ years of experience with furniture, moves, facilities, construction project management or related field.

Office Presence and Travel Expectations

This position is required to work in a client office and will require travel, as necessary, to complete project site visits throughout Metro Atlanta.
