Description

Build a better world with a sustainable, digital-first approach to offsite construction, and help deliver high-performance homes that are faster to build and built to last. In this Project Manager role, you’ll coordinate prefabricated housing projects in the Greater LA or Bakersfield area, with a base in the Tejon Ranch, CA office and hybrid flexibility for remote work and field visits.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Manager position include:

3+ years of direct modular/offsite construction required; 5–10 years total experience in design, permitting, and construction preferred, including 3–6 years managing projects from concept through delivery and installation.
Manage prefabricated projects from feasibility and design into production, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Oversee projects through design/precon, material procurement, and manufacturing to ensure adherence to specifications and scope of work.
Interpret architectural and SMEP (Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire protection) construction documents and coordinate their integration into the overall design.
Manage project schedules and timelines (including Gantt charting), information flow, costs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Coordinate value engineering and alternative solutions with project stakeholders, including owners, designers, engineers, and subcontractors.
Create accurate change orders and coordinate procurement schedules with takeoffs for purchasing to support timely delivery of materials.
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and updates.

Salary: Starting at $90,000+/year DOE.
