This role serves as both a content and technical authority, ensuring high-quality delivery, effective governance, and continuous process improvement across multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor performance of all project tasks and deliverables, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and quality objectives
  • Serve as a content and technical authority for the assigned project or task area
  • Direct and coordinate teams of analysts, developers, engineers, and subject matter experts
  • Lead project planning, reporting, and task or work order management activities
  • Maintain and update project management and execution plans
  • Support process evaluation, reengineering, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate technical activities across teams to ensure consistent architecture and workflow integration
  • Foster an effective team culture, clear communication, and collaboration across stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, expectations, and communications
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including those related to technology transitions and operational continuity
  • Support modernization efforts, including cloud transition, automation, and adoption of AI-assisted workflows, while minimizing service disruption
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as:
    • Medical or Nursing disciplines
    • Scientific or biomedical fields
    • Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical area
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in project or program management
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, multidisciplinary technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior clinical, scientific, or biomedical research experience
  • Experience managing projects involving terminology, ontology, data standards, or knowledge management systems
  • Background supporting modernization or transformation initiatives in regulated or mission-critical environments
Knowledge & Skills
  • Process architecture, evaluation, and improvement
  • Terminology and ontology production or knowledge management workflows
  • Stakeholder management and executive-level communication
  • Project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting
  • Governance and risk management for technical and data-driven initiatives
  • Familiarity with automation, cloud-based platforms, and AI-assisted processes
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and decision-making skills
