Project Manager

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per yearAbout the RoleSeeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. You will manage 3 active heavy civil highway and road construction projects in Fairfield County, with project values ranging from $1M–$9M. Your Projects

• 3 active heavy civil highway and road construction projects in Fairfield County, CT*
• Project values ranging from $1 million to $9 million*

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple heavy civil and highway projects simultaneously from pre-construction through closeout*
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution*
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and field crews*
• Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance*
• Monitor project costs and prepare budget forecasts and financial reports*
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, quality control, and progress milestones are met*
• Manage all project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports*
• Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle*
• Ensure compliance with all CTDOT, municipal, and OSHA safety regulations

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 7 or more years of construction project management experience*
• Background in heavy civil, highway, or road construction strongly preferred*
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, contracts, and scheduling*
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating field operations*
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar software*
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills*
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field*
• Knowledge of Connecticut local permitting, DOT regulations, and municipal requirements*
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification*
• Familiarity with the Fairfield County market and local subcontractor base
