Job Description

WHO WE ARE

Elliott Davis pairs forward-thinking tax, assurance and consulting services with industry-leading workplace culture. Our nine offices — located in the fastest growing cities in the US — are built on a foundation of inclusivity, collaboration, and collective growth. We work daily to provide exceptional service to our people, customers, and our communities. Audit and assurance services are provided by Elliott Davis, LLC(doing business in NC and D.C. as Elliott Davis, PLLC), a licensed CPA firm.

Elliott Davis is seeking a Project Manager to lead high‑impact initiatives spanning technology modernization, AI adoption, and growth enablement. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, IT delivery, and change adoption, serving as a trusted partner to business leaders, internal stakeholders, and vendors.

This is a hands‑on delivery role for an experienced PM who thrives in professional services environments and understands how to apply the right amount of governance, structure, and agility based on project complexity and risk. Over time, this individual is expected to help shape standards and potentially lead a growing project management function.

·Serve as the primary facilitator and integrator across business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors

·Support converting business outcomes to technical requirements.

·Generate technical progress, risks, and decisions into clear, executive‑level communication

·Drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups with differing priorities

·Maintain strong executive confidence through transparency, clarity, and follow‑through

Change & Adoption Enablement

·Partner with business and IT leaders to ensure solutions are adopted, embedded, and delivering value

·Incorporate organizational change considerations (training, communications, readiness) into delivery plans

·Track and report on adoption outcomes and usage indicators—not just delivery milestones

Standards, Governance & Continuous Improvement

·Establish and evolve repeatable project management standards appropriate for innovation, IT, and transformation work

·Identify opportunities to improve delivery consistency

·Contribute to portfolio visibility, prioritization discussions, and delivery health reporting

·Mentor other PMs as the function matures and scales

Technical & Vendor Collaboration

·Partner closely with solution and enterprise architects to ensure delivery plans reflect technical realities

·Be conversant in core concepts related to data platforms, cloud services, AI, and automation

·Manage vendor relationships, delivery commitments, and escalation paths effectively

Requirements:

·5+ years of project management experience, preferably in professional services or consulting environments

· Proven experience leading enterprise‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives

·Demonstrated success delivering projects involving technology, data, or digital transformation

·Strong stakeholder management skills with executive‑level comfort and credibility

·Experience working with external vendors and implementation partners

·Ability to operate in ambiguous, evolving environments typical of innovation and transformation work

Preferred

·Project management certifications (PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Scrum, or equivalent)

·Experience helping establish or mature PM standards or governance models

·Familiarity with Microsoft‑centric delivery environments, including:
