Confidential Opportunity

GPAC is conducting a confidential search on behalf of an established regional general contractor with a diverse commercial portfolio and a strong base of repeat clients. The company is adding a Project Manager - Commercial Construction to its team in Birmingham, AL. This is an urgent, high-priority opening.

The Role

Focus: 5+ years as a Project Manager with prior APM experience on diverse commercial projects.

Responsibilities

Manage diverse commercial projects including retail and light industrial work
Build long-term client relationships
Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
Own budget, schedule, buyout, change orders and monthly forecasting
Serve as the primary point of contact for owners and design teams
Lead and mentor project engineers and APMs

Requirements

5+ years as a Project Manager with prior APM experience on diverse commercial projects.
Proven record of delivering work safely, on time and on budget
Strong communication and leadership skills
Procore, Bluebeam, P6 or similar a plus
