Job Description

Project Manager – Heavy Civil Infrastructure 

Location: Ohio / West Virginia

A leading Heavy Highway Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their leadership team. This role is a prime opportunity for an ambitious civil professional to manage multi-million dollar infrastructure projects across the OH/WV region, offering strong job stability and clear pathways for career growth.

This is a key leadership position designed for an individual who can take full ownership of complex civil projects, ensuring safety, quality, budget control, and timely delivery from initiation through closeout.We are actively seeking professionals with proven experience in our core project sectors:

  • Roadways / Highways & Transportation

  • Earthwork / Excavation / Site Development / Soil Stabilization

  • Underground Utilities (Water, Sewer, Drainage)

  • Structural Work (Experience with bridges and complex foundations is a plus)

The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in successfully managing critical state and regional infrastructure projects, including:

  • 3+ years of heavy civil project management experience

  • Proven ability to manage large heavy civil scopes or primary contracts.

  • Expertise in managing project finances, procurement, scheduling, and risk.

  • A true leader who can build, mentor, and guide site teams and coordinate subcontractors effectively.

  • Estimating experience or proficiency with heavy civil estimating software is a plus.
