Primary Job Title: Project Manager Alternate / Related Job Titles: Senior Project Manager Program Project Manager Enterprise Project Manager Business Project Manager IT / Business Project Manager Location & Onsite Flexibility: Springfield, MA – Onsite Contract Details: Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 12 Months Start: As Soon As Possible Pay Rate:$82.14 – $85.71/hour Job Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for managing and delivering major, complex projects involving one or more cross-functional project teams. This role owns day-to-day project execution, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management, while ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. The Project Manager works independently on highly visible initiatives, partnering closely with management, sponsors, vendors, and stakeholders to drive successful multi-platform project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Manage, direct, and plan complex projects consisting of one or more project teams Own day-to-day execution, management, and reporting of assigned projects Develop, maintain, and control integrated project estimates, work plans, and resource plans Manage project scope, schedule, costs, forecasts, and approved funding Ensure deliverables are met on time, within budget, and on target Communicate proposed changes to scope, schedule, cost, or benefits and manage approvals Partner with sponsors to recommend strategies, actions, and alternatives for business decisions Manage vendor relationships and contractual obligations Identify, document, assign, and track project issues through resolution Actively manage risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies Confirm achievement of project objectives and document final results Formalize sponsor acceptance of completed project deliverables Develop and deliver clear status reporting, escalations, and executive-level communications Independently manage highly visible projects with multi-platform deliverables Required Qualifications & Skills: Demonstrated experience managing large, complex business or enterprise projects Strong expertise in project planning, execution, and control Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendors Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently while partnering with senior leadership Experience managing scope changes, risks, and issue resolution Benefits Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401(k) Retirement Fund About the Company Leading financial services company offering life insurance, disability income insurance, long-term care insurance, retirement planning, and annuities.
