Job Description

Job Title: Project ManagerLocation: This position is based in our Campbell, California offices. Our focus is on the needs of the patient, and they come first in everything we do.What You’ll DoAs an experienced professional in this field, a Project Manager uses solid knowledge and experience to drive the design, development and commercialization of innovative products from concept/feasibility to launch in support of functional objectives.  This position will be an integrate part of a project’s core team.
  • Promote cross-functional performance on assigned R&D projects, driving project execution in accordance with the company’s design control process & quality systems.
  • Enable seamless communications as the primary point of contact among internal and external members of a project team, ensuring effective, accurate and timely collaboration across functions.
  • Accountable for the successful delivery (on-time, on-budget and on-target) of assigned NPD projects from Initiation/Feasibility to Commercialization.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans to achieve overall project goals and objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of project execution, holding core team members accountable for project deliverables.
  • Monitor and track project execution, project budget, and resources.
  • Resolve resource assignment and allocation conflicts with functional management.
  • Proactively manage project risks and develop response strategies to avoid/reduce/contain risk impacts.
  • Understand and assess project issues, promote resolution, and escalate as necessary to meet timelines.
  • Provide communication and updates to cross-functional management and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Apply product development and project management best practices, tools and techniques.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related discipline and a minimum of 5 years in engineering or project management experience; or a combination of education/training and experience.
  • Experience working under regulated quality systems such as GMPs, ISO 9001, and the MDD.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Design Control process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including MS project and other project management tools.
  • PMP certification, and experience in catheter development and medical devices preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence without direct authority over team members.
