As of 2024, JCDecaux North America has been certified as a Great Place to Work.For more JCDecaux US information, visit Commuters and Pedestrians | JCDecaux (jcdecauxna.com)Outfront JCDecauxThe Role:JCDecaux is currently seeking a Project Manager who will report to the EVP, West Region and will be responsible for leading a variety of projects, including team projects for bus shelters and transit amenities, vending kiosks program, community art program, installation of street furniture, digital devices, and more.This full-time position is based in our downtown office in Los Angeles.Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison with diverse municipal and transit agency clients across departments.
- Serve as a liaison for several community groups, activists, and civic leaders.
- Manage, create, and curate content for all social media channels (Instagram, Threads, Facebook, etc.).
- Keep abreast with local politics, local urban planning, and public transit projects with a focus on transit riders' equity and sustainability goals.
- Maintain an understanding of the services the Company offers to the communities it serves.
- Work with several outside vendors and suppliers for services.
- Ability to take on special projects as needed. This includes, but not limited to, creating, drafting, editing documents and memos, supporting RFP projects, and creating reports.
- Cover projects across cities (Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Vancouver).
- Being able to guide and support an intern(s), mediating workplace issues and integrating interns into the workplace.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Self-starter and ability to complete tasks with tight deadlines.
- Ability to be able to make decisions and solve problem quickly and effectively.
- Fluency in Spanish required.
- Ability to positively interact, understand, and build partnerships with diverse entities and community groups within and outside the organization.
- Must be willing to add value to the team, the organization's current projects, and individual job accomplishments.
- Ability to be proactive and a team player in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree desired but not required.
- Knowledge of the LA public transit system is a plus.
