Job Details

Position SummaryThe Project Manager is responsible for leading electrical construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients while overseeing all project phases, including planning, execution, financial management, and closeout. Working closely with the Branch Manager, the Project Manager evaluates project risks, manages changes, and ensures all deliverables meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead full lifecycle management of assigned projects, including scope, budget, schedule, and overall executionServe as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfactionBuild and sustain client partnerships to support repeat business and long-term growthReview and understand project plans, specifications, and contractual requirementsPromote a strong safety culture and ensure high-quality workmanship across all phasesSupport contract review and ensure compliance with project termsIdentify and manage scope changes; document and process change orders effectivelyPrepare and submit payment applications, submittals, change requests, and closeout documentation in a timely mannerPartner with purchasing to negotiate vendor and subcontractor agreementsAttend project meetings and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholdersMaintain accurate project financials and update project status in ERP systemsEnsure deadlines, deliverables, and communication standards are consistently met

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred5–8+ years of project management experience within construction or electrical contractingStrong understanding of commercial construction projects and processesProven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationshipsExperience working with subcontractors, vendors, and cross-functional teamsProficiency in project management and ERP softwareExcellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
