The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale construction projects from the initial stages to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves a high level of interaction with clients, contractors, and team members, so excellent communication and leadership skills are essential. This exciting opportunity requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on electrical systems.Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee construction projects from conception to completion while monitoring compliance with safety and building regulations.
- Coordinate subcontractors and the construction team to meet contractual conditions of performance.
- Prepare external and internal reports relating to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
- Negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
- Meet contractual conditions of performance.
- Review the work progress on a daily basis.
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- A minimum of 5 years as well as a minimum of 2 years of supervisory or project management experience in the commercial electrical industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with construction/ project management software.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- A team player with leadership abilities.
