- Manage and lead all aspects of multiple complex projects in the Biotech, Life Science, and Advanced Technology construction sectors from conception to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean project site.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
- Manage project risks effectively, making contingency plans to manage issues that arise.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Foster relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure customer satisfaction and future business opportunities.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management/construction management within the construction industry, specifically in Biotech, Life Science, and Advanced Technology construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but NOT required.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering complex construction projects $50M or GREATER on time and within budget.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
- Excellent knowledge of construction contract administration and familiarity with construction and project management software.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and build relationships with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
- A commitment to health and safety, with a current understanding of relevant legislation.
- PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
