Job DetailsJob DetailsWe are currently seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and results-driven Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects within the Biotech, Life Science and Advanced Technology sectors as an Owners Rep/CM Firm. You will be given the chance to showcase your expertise and make a significant impact on our projects. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.Responsibilities

• Manage and lead all aspects of multiple complex projects in the Biotech, Life Science, and Advanced Technology construction sectors from conception to completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean project site.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
• Manage project risks effectively, making contingency plans to manage issues that arise.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Foster relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure customer satisfaction and future business opportunities.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management/construction management within the construction industry, specifically in Biotech, Life Science, and Advanced Technology construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but NOT required.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering complex construction projects $50M or GREATER on time and within budget.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
• Excellent knowledge of construction contract administration and familiarity with construction and project management software.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and build relationships with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
• A commitment to health and safety, with a current understanding of relevant legislation.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
