Job Details

The Project Manager leads design build sheet metal projects from planning through completion. This role supervises a team of 10–15 employees, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of 10–15 sheet metal professionals, keeping staff on task and accountableConduct regular team meetings to review project status, goals, and safety protocolsCoordinate design development, drawings, and renderings prior to fabricationManage project schedules, manpower planning, and material flowEnsure all work meets quality, safety, and project specificationsMaintain clear communication between customers, design teams, and field crewsAddress customer feedback and design changes quickly and accuratelyMonitor project budgets, cost tracking, and change ordersEnforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with all company policiesPrevent conflicts by coordinating all trades and project stakeholdersProvide guidance, training, and support to team members to maintain high performance

Qualifications

Experience managing Mechanical, commercial sheet metal or HVAC projectsProven leadership skills supervising a team of 10–15 employeesStrong knowledge of design build construction processesAbility to read and interpret drawings and specificationsExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsCommitment to workplace safety and enforcing safety standards
