Job Details
The firm is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for delivering projects successfully across budget, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction metrics. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who excels at team coordination, client communication, and accountability throughout all phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead overall project execution, including financial performance and delivery strategyBuild, mentor, and manage high-performing project teamsOversee project cost controls, forecasting, pay applications, and profitabilityDevelop, track, and communicate detailed project schedules and milestonesManage change orders, subcontractor buyouts, and contract executionIdentify project risks early and implement practical, client-focused solutionsMaintain site logistics and build plans to meet constructability goalsEnsure adherence to quality and safety standards, including OSHA complianceBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, and project partnersSupport professional development of team membersPerform other duties as assigned
Skills & QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field8+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial constructionStrong understanding of contracts, cost control, scheduling, and construction operationsProficiency with project management and cost forecasting softwareExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
Demonstrated ability to resolve complex project challengesExperience with subcontractor negotiations and dispute resolutionFamiliarity with scheduling software and BIM tools
