Job Details:We are seeking a passionate and experienced Permanent Project Manager in Commercial Construction to join our dynamic team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all stages of commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role requires a deep understanding of the construction process, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. If you are a strategic thinker, with a knack for detail and a proven track record of delivering projects on-time and within budget, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and direct commercial construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
3. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines.
4. Implement cost control measures to ensure project profitability.
5. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
6. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
7. Review the work progress on a daily basis and make necessary adjustments.
8. Communicate project status to stakeholders and provide strategic planning for all project phases.
9. Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.
10. Manage the risks of the project, including health and safety, financial, and reputational risks.
11. Resolve any problems that may arise during construction.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
3. Proven track record of managing large scale commercial construction projects from start to finish.
4. In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
5. Excellent knowledge of construction cost control and strategic planning.
6. Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and technical drawings.
7. Strong leadership and team management skills.
8. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
10. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
11. Proficient in MS Office and construction/project management software.
12. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
