Job DetailsKey Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of land development and public works projects, from concept through construction.
• Supervise and mentor engineering designers, including assigning daily work, conducting reviews, and ensuring quality control.
• Oversee project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Prepare contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and public agency personnel, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Lead the preparation of plans, technical specifications, bid documents, and cost estimates for municipal infrastructure projects.

Design Experience Should Include

• Municipal street design
• Drainage systems, water mains, and sanitary sewers
• ADA-compliant sidewalks
• Other municipal infrastructure systems

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in land development and/or public works engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
• California PE license preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to build and sustain client relationships.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
