Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a Project Manager, you will be playing a pivotal role in the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of projects, while maintaining constant communication with all stakeholders. This role demands a high level of leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the construction industry. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including planning, coordination, budgeting, and risk management.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
• Manage project progress and adapt work as required, ensuring project stays on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure conformance with design specifications and building codes.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and design professionals as necessary.
• Resolve any problems that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances or challenges on site.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred NOT required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on civil construction.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role in construction projects.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
• Excellent knowledge of construction project management software such as Procore or similar.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team, with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
