The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing the company's financials, overseeing operations, and reporting directly to the president. This role requires a deep understanding of environmental and landscape construction, as well as commercial construction knowledge. Job DetailsResponsibilities

• Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of (landscape) construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and execute business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals.
• Implement rigorous and comprehensive quality control processes to ensure the highest standards are consistently met.
• Drive the company's financial performance and growth, including profit/loss management and day-to-day control of operational expenditure.
• Lead and motivate teams to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing managerial team.
• Partner with the president to execute the company's strategy, and report on key results, issues, and opportunities.
• Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
• Drive the company’s sustainability efforts with a focus on environmental and landscape construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex (landscape) construction projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, with a particular emphasis on environmental and landscape construction.
• Demonstrated experience in financial planning and strategy, managing profitability, quality control, and operations management.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and guide teams to achieve their best.
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• Proficient in construction software programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on a variety of factors.
• Strong commitment to ethical business conduct and compliance with all industry regulations.
