Project Manager

JSG is seeking a seasoned Project Manager who will lead large-scale projects at a food manufacturing facility . The psoition will start in St Louis MO  for roughly 4-8 weeks and then will require 75% travel throughout 22 US Locations. This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact by overseeing critical projects such as dryer replacements, equipment upgrades, and new facility builds. This is a Contract to potential direct hire role. Pay $65/hour to $70/hourRequired Skills:

• 5–10 years of project management experience, with a strong background in food manufacturing*
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; graduate degree or management coursework is a plus*
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills*
• Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget effectively*
• Experience with technical documentation, stakeholder management, and construction project execution*
• Knowledge of project management tools, systems, and process improvements*
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and leadership

Nice to Have Skills:

• Specific experience in processing environments such as pet food manufacturing*
• Professional registration in a relevant field*
• Familiarity with new build projects, equipment installations, and process upgrades*
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards in manufacturing settings

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related discipline*
• 5–10 years of direct project management experience, preferably within food manufacturing*
• Experience supervising technical professionals and managing complex contracts

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel as needed for project oversight*
• Own a legally operated, insured vehicle for local site visits*
• Strong organizational skills and proactive problem-solving mindset
