Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager – Circuit Provisioning & Legacy System Decommissioning

Location:Irving or Richardson, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite/week)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Project Manager with a strong background in TDM circuit provisioning and legacy system decommissioning. This role involves managing customer migrations, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless transitions to modern platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customers transitioning from legacy services to current platforms.
• Engage directly with customers or Sales Representatives to communicate timelines and migration steps.
• Coordinate service disconnects, billing updates, and track decommissioning requests end-to-end.
• Maintain and update internal databases to reflect migration progress.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, IT, Product, Sales Engineering, Project Governance, and other PM teams.
• Review reports and apply recommended solutions to data issues.
• Work across multiple systems to clean and prepare inventory data for migration.
• Continuously improve processes and contribute to solution development.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience with provisioning systems is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of circuit viewing tools, order management, and network design.
• Proven ability to work independently and delegate tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-facing mindset.
• Proficiency in Excel (basic to advanced).
• Experience in data migration, inventory consolidation, and billing optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or formal project management training.
• Experience in telecom service transitions and legacy system decommissioning.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications.
