We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee millwork projects from inception tocompletion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

PositionOverview

The MillworkProject Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of assignedprojects, including planning, scheduling, coordination, budgeting, and clientcommunication. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, andthe ability to collaborate across design, engineering, production, andinstallation teams.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Manage millwork projects from contract award through final installation and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, general contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to identify scope, materials, and potential issues.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, hardware, and subcontractor services.
  • Monitor production and installation progress, addressing issues and resolving conflicts as they arise.
  • Conduct site visits to verify field conditions and ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.
  • Track and manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are consistently met.
  • Provide regular project status updates to leadership and clients.

Requirements

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management,Architecture, Engineering, or related field (preferred).3–5 years of project management experience in millwork, carpentry, or architectural woodwork.Strong understanding of millwork fabrication, finishes, and installation practices.Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.Proficiency with project management software (MSProject, Procore, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Skills &CompetenciesLeadership and team coordination.Client relationship management.Attention to detail with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.Budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking.Time management and prioritization.
