Description

Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Project Manager- Federal Construction, you will report into senior project leadership and take ownership of delivering complex, multi‑million‑dollar federal facility upgrades.

  • Lead full project lifecycle management including buyout, contracts, budgeting, and schedule oversight
  • Own and manage the master schedule using Primavera P6
  • Oversee both Project Management and Quality Control responsibilities ("dual‑hatting")
  • Collaborate closely with estimating post‑bid to refine scope and delivery approach
  • Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and proactive problem solving
  • Support site operations as needed to maintain a cohesive, hands‑on project environment
  • Ensure all work complies with federal requirements and secure‑site access standards

Profile

The Successful ApplicantFor the Project Manager- Federal Construction we are seeking:

  • 5-7 years of Project Management experience within construction; federal project experience strongly preferred
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred; strong trade-based experience also considered
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling
  • Comfortable managing both PM and Quality Control responsibilities
  • Team‑focused, collaborative, and self‑directed - thrives without micromanagement
  • Able to meet secure-site requirements (such as Real ID eligibility)
  • Willing to complete a short training period at a nearby regional office before assignment to the primary project site
