Top 10 general contractor in Indiana.About our client: My client is a growing Indianapolis-based commercial contractor that offers the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team while helping build the company's future. Established five years ago, they specialize in retail, restaurant, light commercial, and tenant improvement projects with a focus on fast-paced work and strong client relationships. Led by a president with 20+ years of local construction experience, the company provides a family-oriented, non-corporate environment where employees have flexibility, autonomy, and direct access to leadership. With a small team of PMs, superintendents, and support staff, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys smaller projects, variety in their workload, and making a meaningful impact within a growing organization.Job DescriptionThe project manager's responsibilities:Lead light commercial and retail builds from the ground upWork with leadership as they continue to win more projects and expand into new sectors.Serve as the primary contact for clients, design teams, and subcontractors while ensuring quality and safety

Manage contracts, RFIs, change orders, and submittals using modern project management tools

Partner with estimating and procurement during preconstruction and support continuous improvement

Familiar with design/build construction processes

Construction related degree preferred

Excellent estimating and conceptual bid experience

Experience using construction software - Procore preferred

Scheduling and budgeting experience

Client facing - comfortable communicating with clients on projects
