Job Description
Commercial Construction Project ManagerOur client is a respected commercial builder specializing in retail, restaurant, and hospitality construction projects throughout the Southeast. Known for delivering high-quality projects, building strong client relationships, and consistently meeting aggressive schedules, they have established themselves as a trusted partner for some of the region's most recognized brands and growing businesses.Job DescriptionManage all phases of ground-up retail, restaurant, and QSR construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls
Lead subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract administration activities
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, franchise representatives, and subcontractors
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, and project documentation
Monitor project performance and proactively mitigate schedule, budget, and quality risks
Oversee project financial reporting, forecasting, and cost management
Lead project meetings and maintain strong stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle
Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure efficient field execution and resource allocation
Ensure projects comply with contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
Manage project closeout activities, punch list completion, and client turnover

Proven experience managing ground-up retail, restaurant, or QSR construction projects
Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
Experience managing subcontractors, contracts, and change orders
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office SuiteBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
