Job Description

Commercial Construction Project Manager

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple ground-up commercial construction projects valued between $10M-$20M. Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee healthcare, higher education, municipal, retail, and other commercial construction projects. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project management staff. Collaborate directly with executive leadership to ensure successful project outcomes. Coordinate with field teams, design professionals, clients, and trade partners to maintain project performance. Drive project quality, safety, and financial performance from preconstruction through closeout. Build and maintain strong relationships within the local construction community and project stakeholders.

Must-Have Qualifications: 5-10 years of Project Management experience within commercial construction. Proven experience leading ground-up commercial construction projects valued between $10M-$20M. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and client-facing experience. Stable employment history with a track record of tenure and career progression. Ability to work full-time on-site in the Greenville/Upstate South Carolina market or relocate to the area.

Preferred Experience: Healthcare construction experience, including medical office buildings or healthcare-related facilities. Experience delivering higher education projects. Background managing a diverse portfolio of commercial projects across multiple sectors. Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior project management professionals.
